When Donny Osmond welcomed his firstborn son, Don, into the world over four decades ago, little did he know the incredible bond they would share. The legendary star of "Donny & Marie" took to social media to celebrate Don's 41st birthday on July 31, showering him with heartfelt praise. In a touching tribute, Donny expressed how proud he is of the man his son has become, not just as a son but also as a brother to his younger siblings.
“Where does the time go?” Donny mused in his caption, reflecting on the passage of time. “#HappyBirthday to Don, the leader of our pack and the oldest of our five sons,” he wrote, sharing a nostalgic photo alongside his wife of over 42 years, Debbie Osmond. “Every parent deserves to have a child like you!”
Don: The Role Model Brother
Donny, who also shares four other sons—Jeremy, Brandon, Christopher, and Josh—with Debbie, credited Don for being the perfect role model to his younger brothers. “Mom and I are forever grateful for your example and the positive influence you’ve had on each member of our family,” the proud father concluded. It’s clear that Don has set the tone for his siblings, leading by example and creating a strong foundation for family unity.

With Don living in Austin, Texas, and Donny residing in Utah with Debbie, opportunities for face-to-face interactions are few and far between. However, Donny made sure to cherish a rare moment when Don visited in late June. The two spent quality time working outdoors, a bonding experience that Donny treasures deeply.
“I love these @worxtools #Landroids so much, I had to get another one,” Donny captioned a photo from their outing. “This time, I was able to get some installation help from my oldest son, Don, who happened to be visiting from the great city of Austin, Texas. One-on-one time with my children is rare these days. So working on this project with Don was a gift. #familytime.”
Growing Up and Building Lives
Although Donny cherishes the time he spends with his children, he is equally proud to watch them grow into adults and build their own families. Aside from Don, who is married with three kids, Jeremy is also married to Melisa and is a father of three, while Christopher is married to Shelby and has four children. Josh, the youngest, recently tied the knot with his wife, Summer, completing the family's vision of all five sons happily married.
