His eldest son, Donald Jr., is expecting his fourth child! Donny revealed the happy news by sharing a sweet Instagram post featuring Don and his wife, Jessi, holding their baby's ultrasound picture.
A Delightful Announcement
Donny, who is now 62 years old, couldn't contain his excitement as he shared the news on August 9. He said, "Debbie [Osmond] and I are so thrilled to announce that our 12th grandbaby is on the way! Our son Don and daughter-in-law Jessi are expecting their fourth son." He went on to say, "They’ll soon have a cute quartet, and we can hardly wait to meet this precious little baby boy." Isn’t that just the sweetest thing? The Osmond family is growing, and it’s clear that they’re absolutely overjoyed about it.

According to Donny, the new addition to the family is expected to arrive in January 2021. "Wouldn't that be cool?" he exclaimed. "We’ll see. #grandbabiesarethebest." It sounds like this little one is going to be welcomed into a truly loving and close-knit family.
Family Time with Donny
Even with a hectic schedule, Donny always finds time for his family. Back in April, the singer, best known for hits like "I’ll Make A Man Out Of You," joined his grandchildren in a virtual Disney Family Singalong on ABC. They sang his iconic song from the movie Mulan, and it was such a heartwarming moment that the whole family recorded it on their phones and shared it on Instagram Stories. Donny's daughter-in-law, Shelby Osmond, said, "Ahh," while another family member, Melisa Osmond, added, "Seriously dying." Clearly, these moments mean a lot to the Osmond clan.

Donny's connection with his family extends beyond just music. In fact, in July 2019, he shared a delightful photo of himself and his grandkids enjoying popsicles by the pool. And two months earlier, he proudly announced that his grandson Daxton had chosen him as the subject for a school autobiography project. Donny said, "Look who my darling #grandson chose for the subject of his autobiography presentation. And the best part of all—he put this presentation together all by himself!" He added, "I consider myself extremely blessed to have such wonderful grandchildren. #Grandkids really do make life grand!"
