Rediscovering Love After 25 Years Apart
For decades, Marie has been on the road, performing, recording, and building an iconic career. Now, she’s thrilled to be back in her own home, reconnecting with Steve like never before. “We’ve spent so much time together lately, it feels like we’re making up for those 25 years we were apart,” she says with a warm smile. “For instance, we recently went to L.A. to sell my house there, and it was just the two of us packing everything up. It was such a beautiful experience—we loved every second of it.”

They remarried in 2011, proving that sometimes, the best things come full circle.
Now, as empty nesters, Marie and Steve are savoring their newfound freedom. With their children—Stephen, Jessica, Rachael, Brandon, Brianna, Matthew, and Abigail—all grown up, this is the first time they’ve been truly alone together. “It’s such a blessing to be able to focus on each other,” Marie says. “I’ve always been so busy with my career, but now I can slow down and enjoy life with the man I love.”
